“Is A Mousse A Moose”

Is a mousse a moose?
Or is a mousse an ice cream?
Ice cream is what everybody wants
But what about the moose?
Doesn’t everybody want one?
And does a moose want ice cream or a
Bowl of chocolate mousse?

I wonder what my mom and day might say
If a moose just said one day:
”I’d like some chocolate ice cream”
I wonder what the moose might say
If my mom and dad one day
Handed him a bowl of chocolate mousse
Would he be confused?
Or overly amused?
Because A Mousse Is Not A Moose

Is a hole a whole?
Or is a hole a vacancy?
How can whole be something if a hole is what it’s not?
And when a bear is bare
Does it feel like something’s missing?
Or is the whole bare barely there
In a hole beneath a rock?

I wonder what my mom and day might say
If a bear just said one day:
”I’d like some chocolate ice cream”
I wonder what that bear might say
If my mom and dad one day
Handed it a bowl of chocolate mousse
Would it be confused?
Or overly amused?
Maybe the bear should ask the moose

(Dance Break!!!)

Is a beet a beat?
Or is a beet a vegetable?
Who would want to dance to a beat
With a mouth full of beats?
The words all sound the same
But they all mean something different
How mean it is to mean something
Without being mean

I wonder what that moose might say
If my mom and dad one day
Handed it a giant bowl of beets
And I wonder what that bear might say
If my mom and dad one day
Started throwing down some groovy beats
Would it be confused?
Or put on dancing shoes?
And dance to the vegetables!!
